🐕 Overnight Pet Sitting — Care Levels & Rates

Rather than charging a long list of add-ons, I price overnight stays based on the level of care and attention your pet needs. This keeps things simple, transparent, and fair for everyone.

Every stay includes overnight care in your home, daily updates with photos or videos, and a calm, consistent routine tailored to your pet.

🏝️ Easy Care

$85–$95 per night

Best for pets who are easygoing, low activity, and largely self-regulated.

Typical fit:

• Older, smaller, or low-energy dogs

• Cats or other low-maintenance pets

• Pets without behavioral or major health issues

Includes:

• Feeding and basic daily care

• Short daily walk (for dogs)

• Regular bathroom breaks

• Calm companionship

• Easy medications mixed with food (if needed)

This tier is ideal for pets who don’t require much exercise or hands-on management and are comfortable being left alone for part of the day.

🎾 Active Care

$100–$120 per night

For pets who enjoy or require a bit more exercise, management or engagement.

Typical fit:

• One or two medium-size, medium-energy dogs

• Pets who benefit from more exercise or play

• Easy pets that simply need extra attention

Includes:

• One longer walk plus one shorter walk and play session daily

• Feeding and daily care

• More active companionship and engagement

• Routine-based attention and supervision

This tier works well for dogs who need exercise and interaction, benefit from a routine, and don’t have significant medical or behavioral challenges.

⏱️ Dedicated Care

$130–$160+ per night

For pets who need a high level of exercise, attention, supervision, or specialized care.

Typical fit:

• Puppies or multiple large dogs

• High-energy or very needy dogs

• Pets with significant health or medical needs

• Behavioral challenges (anxiety, reactivity, sleep issues)

• Pets requiring special medication administration

• Pets who cannot be left alone for extended periods

Includes:

• Multiple walks and/or play sessions per day

• Close supervision and emotional support

• Specialized routines or medication care

• Significantly higher time and energy commitment

This tier reflects the additional responsibility required to provide excellent care for pets with lots of energy or more complex needs.

🐾 Additional Pricing Notes

• Holiday Surcharge:
  +$20–$30 per night during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.)

• In-Home Hosting (at my home):
  +$10–$20 per night, depending on care level and availability

• Multiple Pets:
  Pricing is based on overall care level, not strictly per-pet. I’ll confirm which tier applies during our conversation or meet & greet.

• ‘Meet & Greet’ Deposit
  +$45–$65 non-refundable deposit to cover for time and travel expense for ‘meet and greets.’ Deposit can be applied towards the sitting fee upon confirmation.

💬 How Quotes Work

I can usually give a preliminary estimate during our phone or Zoom call, and a final confirmed quote after a meet & greet, once I understand your pet’s routine and needs.

My goal is always to be upfront, fair, and clear — no surprises.

🐾 Drop-In Visits, Walks & Daytime Care

$45-$65 for 30 minutes
+$1 per additional minute

Includes feeding, playtime, basic care, and a quick update.

Care level adjustments may apply for high-maintenance or special-needs pets.

Daytime hosting at my home in Encinitas is priced case-by-case, depending on care level and schedule.
