Hello!

My name is Nate, AKA Dog Uncle Nate.

I’ve been the go-to pet "uncle" and sitter amongst friends and family for YEARS.

In 2024, I decided to make it official and start promoting myself as a professional dog sitter.

I've always had a special relationship with animals, especially dogs. I grew up with pets, so my experience goes way back.

As a house sitter, I'm quiet and responsible. I don't drink or smoke. I like to go to bed early and wake up with the sunrise.

I’ll send lots of pictures and videos so you know you’re pet will be in good hands while you’re away. ;)

Other Stuff About Me…

I’m a working professional with my own communications consulting business.

My home base is in Encinitas but I’m willing to travel to all parts of San Diego and beyond.

I’m familiar with the care of all sorts of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, rabbits, reptiles, and even some livestock.

I’m willing to consider hosting pets at my home (we have a yard!)

I’m comfortable with large and active breed dogs, can administer medication, and even manage somewhat difficult dogs (to a point).
